How to join

Every team is open to boys and girls, whatever their ability. Membership is open to anyone, irrespective of race, colour, religion, sex, sexuality or disability.

Find your team

Find your child's birth year and email the team. Not sure which team? Email the academy and we'll point you in the right direction.

Come along to a trial

The coaches will invite your child to a training session. If the squad is full, they can join the waiting list until a space opens up.

Complete the joining form

When a place is offered, fill in the academy's joining form. The team then registers your child with the Scottish Youth FA.

Find your child's team

Teams are organised by birth year. Email the team to ask about a trial. Where a team doesn't have its own address yet, your email comes to the academy and we'll pass it on.

Good to know

  • Monthly subs are £20 for most teams, and £25 for the 2012s, 2013s and 2014s.
  • There are no academy-wide registration or annual fees on top of team subs. Some teams may ask for a contribution towards kit.
  • New players need football boots, shin pads and a drink.
  • Trials are offered for every team. If a squad is full, your child can join the waiting list.
  • Your team registers your child with the Scottish Youth Football Association (SYFA).
  • Teams are moving to the Spond app for training times and match availability.
